Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Home Health Role Location: Manteo, NC 27954 Shift Requirements Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM No on-call schedule License Requirements Active PTA license in North Carolina or compact license Productivity Requirement 32 visits per week Mileage Reimbursement $0.41 per mile Service Areas Currituck County, NC Dare County, NC Required Skills Home Health experience required Home Care Home Base (HCHB) experience required Job Summary The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy services that are planned, delegated, and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment. Responsibilities Deliver physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Regularly confer with supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient treatment plans, progress, and concerns Assist with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and treatment areas Report equipment issues to appropriate personnel to ensure proper maintenance and safety Communicate patient progress and needs to the supervising Physical Therapist Assist in securing and using adaptive equipment to improve patient function and rehabilitation outcomes Incorporate adaptive equipment into rehabilitation programs Maintain and submit accurate patient treatment and billing documentation in accordance with company, facility, and regulatory requirements Comply with company Code of Conduct, HIPAA regulations, Corporate Compliance programs, and all applicable state and federal laws Participate in staff development programs, meetings, and continuing education activities Maintain and enhance clinical skills in accordance with professional standards Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $30 - $34 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
