Phlebotomist - Float

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Longmeadow, MA. Work Schedule: 8‑hour shift Monday – Friday; scheduled hours vary between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm with alternating weekends. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience Preferred Qualifications Current or previous LabCorp experience 2 or more years of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation Must be at least 21 years old Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $21.00 – $27.00 per hour Float Incentive: Additional $1.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week are eligible for the 401(k) plan only Employees with a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible for all benefits except PTO Equal Opportunity Employment Labcorp is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values inclusion and belonging in the workforce.
