Treasury Accountant

What You'll Do Location: Oak Ridge, TN Job Title: Treasury Accountant Career Level From: Associate Career Level To: Job Specialty: Treasury Responsibilities Compiling and analyzing financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy. Preparing balance sheet and profit and loss statements, consolidated financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports. Monitoring Treasury accounts and utilizing US government letter of credit. Assisting in maintaining all banking relationships and effectively communicating with banks and the US Treasury. Monitoring daily banking activity and daily/monthly bank reconciliations. Monitoring electronic cash receipt and disbursement processing. Designing, modifying, installing, and/or maintaining accounting systems to ensure an adequate recognition of financial transactions. Performing account reconciliation and account cost analysis. This position is integral to the accounting management and financial reporting of the company and the assurance that internal controls are adequate. This role also interfaces with NNSA, NPO, and Audit personnel on a frequent basis.
