Portfolio Manager - Investment Real Estate

DescriptionSummary: The Portfolio Manager - Investor Real Estate is designated for those underwriters with the greatest responsibility for the most complex business loan relationships, and those with the highest credit exposure within the business segment.Duties and Responsibilities:Supports Business Banking production by maintaining an individual pipeline of work.Reviews all financial and credit application information to make sound credit decisions. Credits would typically include those with moderate to high complexity.Utilizes single approval authority. Periodic and timely receipt, analysis, dissemination, and recordation ofrequired financial informationOngoing assessment of risk factors, not inherent in the financial information; Sensitivity analysisTimely updating of risk ratings and adjustment to the system of record, asappropriateIdentification of potential problem loans and/or forecast of potentialdowngrade/upgrade to or from criticized or worse statusOversight of system integrityAnticipation of potential borrowing/credit needs, including renewals,restructures, etc.Evaluation of adequacy of current credit facilities and structure and othercredit-related productsTimely identification and escalation of financial deterioration Appropriately assess risk profile of borrower. Tasks as needed to support the line of business and job familyPerforms other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree3+ years’ experience with business or commercial underwriting in a centralized lending environment analyzing, primarily IREPreferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or BusinessExperience with IRE including retail, multifamily, office, and warehouse industrial propertiesStrong portfolio management skillsExcellent analytical skills along with the ability to write in a concise, logical manner to clearly document transactions risks and mitigantsCustomer service focus and good interpersonal skills are critical to be successful in this position along with a desire to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience working in financial sales environmentExempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)YesWorkplace Type:OfficeOur Approach to Office Workplace TypeCertain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
