Commercial Lines Assistant role requires the ability to prioritize workload and attention to detail. Able to problem solve and communicate with account managers. Commitment to a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Policy checking for accuracy on all renewal, endorsement, audit, cancellation transactions per Cross workflow procedures. Processing of policies includes verifying all underwriting information is as submitted, all coverage is as requested and bound, forms and exclusions are standard and as agreed upon, premiums are accurate. Identify discrepancies, communicate with account manager and producers.
• Prepare policies for delivery
• Manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities
• Invoice policy transaction premiums, updates and maintains agency management systems where necessary
• Understanding of technology as it pertains to day-to-day inter-office operations
• Perform other tasks or projects as needed/assigned
• Maintain a cordial and professional relationship with clients, co-workers, companies, vendors and other business contacts

The hourly rate for this role is $29 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on factors including location, skills, experience, and internal equity. Cross Insurance offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, and more.
