Meaningful Day Program - Direct Support Professional (30 hr/week)

Description Westminster, MD $20.07/hour | Monday–Friday | Daytime Hours The Arc Carroll County is seeking energetic and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Meaningful Day Program. Schedule: 30 hours/week Monday–Friday Hours vary between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM What You’ll Do: Support individuals in small groups and a 1:1 setting, completing person-centered activities and participating in small group activities Create and implement innovative and meaningful activities tailored to each person’s goals and interests Encourage skill development in job readiness, social skills, self-care, math, reading, and safety Provide personal care and mobility support as needed Assist with community access and transportation Promote independence, decision-making, and self-advocacy Document services and progress according to agency and state requirements Pay & Benefits: $19.68/hour (Equal Pay for Equal Work compliant) Paid Sick Leave 403(b) retirement plan (eligible upon hire) Employee Assistance & Wellness Programs Credit Union membership No experience required – paid training provided!
