Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an Emergency Room (ER) Nurse for a position in Renton, Washington. This role involves providing acute care in a high-volume ER setting, including trauma and specialized patient populations. The role requires experience in emergency medicine, adherence to safety and certification standards, and the ability to work rotating shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, with hours totaling approximately 12 per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Registered Nurse license, minimum of 2 years of ER experience, at least 1 year of trauma experience, and prior travel nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical records system, familiarity with rapid response equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, high flow), and proficiency in providing culturally competent care within a diverse patient population.
• Additional Information: The ER features a trauma level 3 designation, with approximately 55 beds including trauma bays, swing beds, and a dedicated fast track or accelerated care zone. The environment includes separate triage and holding areas, a 24/7 security presence, and multidisciplinary staff including charge nurses, patient flow coordinators, and ED techs. The unit emphasizes team coordination within a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
