As a Security Officer Unarmed - Overnight in SAVANNAH, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting access awareness and daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior and exterior areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, help to deter unauthorized access, and report unusual behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support daily operations by observing high-traffic areas, assisting with directional questions, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
