As a Security Guard - Unarmed Access in SAVANNAH, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced retail distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor entrances, exits, loading and receiving areas, and/or other high-traffic zones to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
• Support loss prevention and operational goals by observing daily activity, reporting hazards or policy concerns, and assisting with access control and visitor screening procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience using alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
