This role is great for those who will provide a positive and engaging experience with the donors and employees by making them feel welcomed and valued. In this role, you’ll: Assist in the daily supervision of facility staff to ensure the safe and appropriate care of the donor population. Serve as the NDC Manager in their absence. Perform pre-donation screening, venipuncture, and post‑venipuncture care of donors in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, with accurate, legible completion of donor records in a timely manner. Review donor records to ensure accuracy and completeness, completing records accurately and legibly in a timely manner. Analyze data related to quality improvement, procedures, and products; recommend improvements. Assist in orienting and training other staff members. Identify and address non‑routine situations arising during phlebotomy and apheresis procedures; implement corrective action where appropriate. Attend and complete continuing education and training in apheresis procedures, instruments, and equipment as required. Maintain an acceptable level of proficiency in required phlebotomy and apheresis procedures. Actively recruit donors. We need someone who has: High school diploma or GED. 2 years in the medical field. 1 year of supervisory experience. Customer service experience. Certificate of phlebotomy. EMT certification or associate degree in a related field strongly preferred.
