In-Take Specialist

Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Homeowner Services Coordinator, Intake Specialist for a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to affordable homeownership opportunities and strengthening communities throughout the Houston area. This is a full-time onsite contract-to-hire opportunity based in Houston, Texas.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Homeowner Services Coordinator, Intake Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the homeownership application process and helping build a strong pipeline of future homeowners. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for applicants, assisting with inquiries, maintaining homeowner records, and coordinating program-related communications and events. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, community-focused professional who is passionate about helping families achieve long-term stability and homeownership success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and support the full homebuyer application and intake process while responding to applicant inquiries via phone and email
• Utilize Salesforce to track applicant status, maintain records, and manage program-related documentation
• Organize and maintain accurate paper and digital homeowner files in compliance with organizational policies and confidentiality standards
• Assist with community outreach efforts, informational sessions, homebuyer events, and dedication ceremonies
• Support departmental operations, scheduling, reporting, and special projects as needed
• Promote a welcoming and service-oriented experience for applicants, volunteers, and community members

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and time management abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service-oriented approach
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database or CRM systems such as Salesforce
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
