HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors in Morris, IL is looking for a Specialty Mechanical Service Technician / Leak Repair to join their safety conscious team! The Specialty Mechanical Service Technician will need to have qualifications in one or more of the following: Leak Repair, Field Machining, Line Isolation, NDT Hydrotesting, Hot Tapping & Line Stopping. Promptly address any safety concerns. Adhere to all company policies and demonstrate commitment to our core values. Diagnose issues with leaking components, reporting findings to supervisory staff and engineering teams. Conduct leak mitigation tasks, which may include: Identify situations requiring the use of safety equipment. Complete necessary documentation and administrative tasks. Work collaboratively with field teams, client representatives, and management. Keep informed about the company's products and services to better assist customers. Work Environment Based at a branch or on-site location. Involves both indoor and outdoor work in industrial settings. Interaction with team members, supervisors, and clients. Working near production machinery with high noise levels. Required to use personal protective equipment. Ability to adapt to different job sites and weather conditions. Travel to various sites may be required. Qualifications Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds. Must be physically able to walk, climb, and perform field duties. Effective communication abilities. Good observational skills. Manual dexterity for routine office and field tasks. Able to travel to off-site locations when necessary. Skilled in multitasking and maintaining focus in a dynamic environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. TWIC card required or must be able to obtain. Valid driver's license able to meet company driver's standards.
