Structural BIM Designer

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Structural BIM Designer to support a large engineering client in either Raleigh or Charlotte, North Carolina. This individual will join the team that's largely supporting data center projects across the country. In this role, candidates will create and manage 3D structural models in Revit and produce detailed, accurate construction drawings that contractors rely on. They'll work closely with engineers and other disciplines to coordinate designs, resolve clashes, and contribute to high quality, well integrated project deliverables. Rather than simply drafting redlines, they will take real ownership of structural layout, modeling, and drawing production. The position offers meaningful professional growth through diverse project types and daily collaboration within a multi discipline design environment. This is a six month contract-to-hire position with a hybrid office schedule. This person will be expected to work in office 3-4 days in office per week with flexibility for more WFH days as time goes on. Rates for this role range from $45-$65+ depending on years of experience and specific skillsets.
