Position Overview
Maryland Industrial Trucks is seeking skilled Mechanics to join their team in Linthicum, MD. This role involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing forklifts and heavy/material handling equipment in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
We currently have 3 open positions:
- 2 focused on forklift repair
- 1 focused on heavy equipment
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts and/or heavy equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections
- Work on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to complete jobs efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of mechanic experience
- Experience repairing forklifts and/or heavy equipment
- Must have own tools
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Reliable and able to work independently or on a team
Compensation & Benefits
- $40$45/hour (based on experience)
