CNC Machinist - 3rd Shift

Job Posting3rd Shift Premium: This position is scheduled on 3rd shift and includes a 20% shift differential on top the base rate.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate and set-up machines within the department.Inspect parts and document results of inspections on in process inspection plans.Continuously monitor equipment and tooling. In the event of a breakdown or other event that would disrupt the process, notify department manager to resolve the problem.Follow the instructions on the setup sheet, drawings and/or programs.Assist with training of new team members and operators.Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.Adhere to company safety requirements.Assure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED preferredMinimum of 3-5 years related experienceJob Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesProficient with one or more of the following CNC machines: EDM RAM, EDM Wire, Lathe, Mill, Mill-Turn, Swiss.Experienced in use of caliper, micrometer, OC and height gage for dimensional inspection.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Strong mechanical and trouble shooting ability.Ability to contribute to a team-oriented environment.Physical DemandsLight to moderate physical exertion requiredLifting/carrying Maximum lbs.: 50Regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facilityEEO DisclaimerARCH Global Precision is an Equal Opportunity Employee and wholeheartedly supports diversity in the workplace as a basic premise for business success.
