Wherever there is a need for motive power, EnerSys offers the perfect energy solution.Job Purpose The Shipping & Receiving Operator coordinates shipping documents and reconciles production reporting daily; prepares transport documents for out of country shipments.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documentsPrepare shipping documents, including out of country shipments.Ensures required documents are accurately completed and maintained in an orderly file.Accurately and timely completes entries into BAAN/SAP.Creates plan shipment documentsProvides backup coverage for Logistics Specialist and other department employees when assigned.Must be able to operate a lift truck, and have or be able to obtain a forklift truck licenseOther duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED from an accredited institution and at least 1-year experience in an administrative support role and or shipping receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution centerAbility to use computer systems including MRP and MS officeAbility to read and interpret documents in local language, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to do mathematical functions, including add, subtract, multiply, divide, interpret Pareto Charts, Bar graphs, Flow charts, and other quality toolsGeneral Job RequirementsThis position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands. This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company's driving requirements.
