Tool Room Supervisor Job Location(s): Bloomington IN United States Job Locations: US-IN-Bloomington Shift Type: 1st shift Position Type: Full Time Company: Cook Polymer Technology Category: Production/MFG/Operations Overview Leads a group of employees within the Tool Room. Provides input to Manager regarding employees’ performance and assists Manager in identifying and resolving problems that effect productivity. Organizes the group's work and ensures that proper materials, tools and written instructions are available. Monitors groups’ compliance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities Aids in the assistance of operation per leadership directives. Duties/Responsibilities include assigning work, ordering materials, coordinating tasks between tool makers, identify improvement opportunities, and assist in the development and evaluation of tool room employees. Attends meetings to discuss current and future state of business practices with a focus on continuous improvement. Maintain a clean work area and assist in cleaning common areas of the shop. Machine tooling and components to meet tooling work order requirements in a safe and efficient manner. Verify work for compliance to prints and specifications. Manual or computer-controlled machining methods are used. Operate standard manual machining equipment.
