Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·       Support all front-of-house operations in a high-volume, multi-level restaurant environment while ensuring exceptional guest service and strong dining room presence.

·       Lead by example on the floor, providing hands-on support during peak shifts, heavy walk-in periods, online reservations, and special high-volume events.

·       Assist with opening and closing procedures.

·       Train, coach, and develop hourly team members to strengthen service standards, accountability, awareness, and attention to detail.

·       Help create employee schedules and ensure proper staffing and dining room coverage across multiple dining rooms, three floors, and several points of entry.

·       Monitor labor, productivity, sales volume, and service performance throughout each shift, with awareness of weekly sales volume and peak business patterns.

·       Resolve guest concerns professionally and ensure guest satisfaction.

·       Ensure food, beverage, and service quality standards are consistently met, supporting positive guest reviews across all platforms.

·       Support cash handling, deposits, and shift reconciliation procedures.

·       Assist with inventory, ordering, receiving, and product storage.

·       Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards.

·       Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.

·       Assist with catering, special events, promotional activities, seasonal volume periods such as Nights of Lights, and new concept launches, including adjacent restaurant or bar operations as assigned.

·       Monitor facility maintenance needs and communicate issues promptly.

·       Support audits, safety inspections, and action plans.

·       Work closely with ownership, the General Manager, and managers across multiple locations.

·       Step into any role necessary to support the team, stabilize operations, and help managers drive, coach, and develop staff through periods of growth and transition.

Qualifications

·       Restaurant leadership, supervisory, or assistant management experience preferred; high-volume and fine dining experience is a strong plus.

·       Strong knowledge of front-of-house operations, floor leadership, guest interaction, and hands-on employee support.

·       Ability to remain patient, flexible, resilient, and professional in a fast-paced, labor-challenged market with significant seasonal volume.

·       Strong verbal communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with guests and employees.

·       Basic financial acumen and comfort working with restaurant systems, reporting, and operational performance metrics.

·       Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

·       ServSafe certification required or ability to obtain certification.

Physical Requirements

·       Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

·       Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Work Environment

·       Fast-paced restaurant environment with frequent guest and employee interaction.

·       Exposure to kitchen heat, cleaning chemicals, and occasional wet or slippery surfaces.
