Senior Living Sales Counselor

This is a unique temporary opportunity to contribute your skills and experience with Tandem Living. The anticipated duration of this role is 1218 months. This position is not eligible for benefits or paid time off. Location: Calvary Homes Current Opening: Full-time | 8:00 AM4:30 PM

The Senior Living Sales Counselor is responsible for promoting public awareness of Tandem Living and maintaining high occupancy in the Independent Living units. This position will be performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred. One (1) to three (3) years of sales and/or marketing experience preferred. Experience working in the industry or with the senior population preferred.

Responsibilities include: Utilizing appropriate sales and closing techniques as determined by the Director of Sales and Marketing. Providing excellent customer service when interacting with clients, their families, and residents. Presenting clear and accurate information through telephone and written communication. Providing a complete understanding of the continuum of care offered by Tandem Living. Giving special consideration to each resident's unique needs, desires, abilities, concerns, and family situations. Maintaining detailed documentation of client interactions and monthly reporting of tours, telephone calls, depositors, and move-ins. Reviewing reports monthly with the Director of Sales and Marketing. Properly utilizing Aline and YourTour. Coordinating various office and marketing procedures; developing new marketing strategies; maintaining and coordinating the annual competitive comparison analysis; communicating information, updates, and changes; and assisting with projects within the Marketing Department. Maintaining and increasing the prospective client base through initiating contacts, following up on leads, and providing presentations to interested clients. Presenting to senior citizen groups, clubs, and churches to educate and promote Calvary Homes by Tandem Living. Maintaining occupancy goals and increasing waiting list prospects through consistent sales efforts and regular communication with prospective residents through various communication outlets. Demonstrating knowledge of Continuing Care Retirement Community concepts and philosophies, as well as a thorough understanding of Tandem Living's Independent Living contracts, policies, and procedures. Effectively communicating this information to prospective residents and their families.
