Payroll SpecialistLHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a mission-driven organization in a full-time, in-office role. This position is responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time for a growing employee population.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess payroll for approximately 400 employees, including biweekly and semi-monthly payrollsReview payroll data for accuracy and maintain payroll recordsHandle payroll adjustments, deductions, direct deposits, and year-end reportingSupport payroll requirements, including housing allowance and tax-related considerationsPrepare payroll reports, imports/exports, reconciliations, and journal entriesRespond to payroll questions professionally while maintaining strict confidentialityAssist with benefit deductions, retirement contributions, audits, and process improvementsIdeal Candidate3–5+ years of payroll processing experience requiredExperience processing complex payroll for 300+ employees preferredADP payroll system experience strongly preferredKnowledge of payroll laws, tax reporting, deductions, and complianceStrong Excel, reporting, and computer skillsExcellent attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and confidentialityAbility to communicate payroll information clearly to employees and leadershipExperience with nonprofit payroll is a plusAdditional DetailsBusiness casual work environmentMust be comfortable working within a faith-based, mission-focused organizationMust pass a criminal background checkSchedule and CompensationMonday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch100% in-office positionPermanent salary range: $70,000–$85,000, depending on experienceBenefits include retirement contribution, health, life, disability, paid time off and more
