Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)

Location: Ohio

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 7 PM to 7:30 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate must be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in the emergency department.
• Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information and care in electronic medical records.
• Participate in patient and family education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 18 months recent Emergency Department experience.
• 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
• Permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required, with active status at the time of submission.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• Reference from a manager or director in the specialty required.
