Industrial Maintenance Technician | Experienced Professional Wanted

Are you an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician who takes pride in keeping equipment running at peak performance? We're seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our Evansville team. This role is ideal for candidates with 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience and a strong background in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment.

As a key member of our Maintenance team, you'll work with electrical, mechanical, and automated systems to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. You'll diagnose equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, and help drive reliability, safety, and production performance across the facility.

We're looking for individuals who are hands-on problem solvers with experience in industrial electrical systems, PLCs, machinery repair, welding, HVAC, machining, or other maintenance-related disciplines. Candidates with formal technical training and/or at least five years of industrial maintenance experience are strongly preferred.

Job Requirements (Required and Preferred):

Education: Minimum: High School Diploma or GED, and a mechanical ability. Testing may be conducted.

Related Experience: Preferred: A combination of specific specialty training (Maintenance Engineering, Millwright Training, and electrical or mechanical On-The-Job experience of at least 5 years).

Competencies: Good knowledge of Electricity and Electronics, familiarity and awareness of Circuit boards, Process Controllers, Programmable Logic Controllers, electronic test equipment, and Process Computing hardware and software are desired. Reading, writing, math, reasoning, analyzing, ability to learn, open to changes. Required for test, measurement, and diagnosis for repair or fabrication within the job scope of work requirements.

Technical Skills: Proof of the completion of some formal training. Knowledge of machines and machine tools, including their design, uses, repair, and maintenance. Training in a maintenance related discipline (welding, machinist, electrician, machinery repair, auto repair technician, electronics technician, HVAC technician, etc.) Formal technical school training or 5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience or equivalent certifications. Certifications in any additional related discipline are added factors to consideration (e.g. welding, electrical, electronics, metrology, machining, machine repair, boiler engineer, etc.).

Languages: Fluency in English Required. Fluency in Spanish a plus.

Other Qualifications: HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

V – Work/Employment Conditions and Other Requirements:

Work Environment: This job operates in a manufacturing warehouse environment. This role routinely uses manufacturing equipment. The environment is hot, cold, wet, dusty and loud. Must be able to don personal protective equipment on the manufacturing floor (hearing protection, hard hat, safety glasses, beard/hair nets, safety shoes). This role will be exposed to allergens including gluten & soy. This role will be exposed to Neodymium magnets.

Physical and Sensory Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms overhead and grip; climb stairs, work from heights up to 40 feet; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move products and supplies, up to 55 pounds. Good Vision (corrected to ~20/20), and good color vision because workers frequently must identify electrical wires and electronic components by color. Good hearing, ability to communicate by speaking clearly, a good sense of smell, taste, and touch is necessary to do the work.
