Job Description:
As a Cath Lab Tech , you'll assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and pacemaker insertions. You'll play a critical role in supporting physicians, managing imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety throughout complex procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiac and peripheral catheterization procedures
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
- Operate imaging equipment and monitor patient vitals during procedures
- Scrub in and support physicians during diagnostic and interventional cases
- Maintain sterile fields and ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
- Accurately document procedures and patient information
- ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Active state license or eligibility where applicable
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience
- Proficiency in fluoroscopy, EKG, and sterile technique
- Ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced procedural environments
