Special Education Teacher – Self-Contained Classroom

Full-Time | Full School Year | Georgia

This educator will provide coverage for a self-contained special education classroom and help create a positive, structured environment where students can learn and grow.

Your Role

The selected teacher will lead instruction within a self-contained setting, providing individualized support based on students’ educational needs. The role involves maintaining a well-organized classroom, delivering appropriate instruction, and helping students work toward their academic and developmental goals throughout the school year.

This is a full-time position for the entire school year at a Georgia primary school. The selected candidate will provide classroom coverage in a self-contained special education setting.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and a valid Georgia teaching certificate with the appropriate Special Education endorsement. Applicants should also demonstrate the ability to effectively lead and support a self-contained special education classroom and fulfill the essential responsibilities of the position.
