Entry Psr/Lobby Experience Coordinator (Lec)Seeking an ENTRY PSR/Lobby Experience Coordinator (LEC) to help with patient care by greeting them upon arrival and answering any questions or concerns with care and compassion.Job DescriptionThe ENTRY PSR I/Lobby Experience Coordinator (LEC) helps with patient care by greeting them upon arrival and answering any questions or concerns with care and compassion.The individual will also help maintain the integrity of the waiting area and assist with breaks when other Phlebotomists are unavailable.This individual will also utilize Phlebotomy skills to grow within the company.The ENTRY PSR I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining what to expect to patients regarding the scheduled procedure for the patients in a safe and accurate manner.The ENTRY PSR I will demonstrate excellence in customer care while focusing on process skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.The impact of this individual will be crucial to maintaining the integrity of the lobby and ensuring that all patients are provided with the level of service that is expected.Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.Maintain a safe and professional environment.Maintains required records and documentation.Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general along with a willingness to learn new skills.This is primarily a Lobby Greeter position to help patients check in at the kiosk and to help them feel more comfortable while waiting to be called back for their labs to be run - Will fill in for breaks and cover for staffing shortagesJob RequirementsAbility to handle patients with care and compassion while assisting with check ins in the lobby through either a self-service kiosk or handheld tabletBe willing to work both in the lobby and in a draw room with patients to help with breaks that need to be coveredTo perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.Customer service skills requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent REQUIREDPhlebotomy experience is required, even if just an intern/externship to learn the basicsMinimum of 1-2 years of client facing customer service REQUIRED (Retail, Home Health Aide, etc).Some Phlebotomy experience is REQUIREDKeyboard/data entry experience a must.Candidates need to be within a 20-25 min commute window to ensure their ability to travel to/from the site for coverage.?Shift/Time Zone: M-F 5am- 130 pm Rotational Saturdays 630am- 100pmBenefitsHealthcare Insurance: Synectics offers eligible employees and their dependents healthcare coverage through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois.
