Job Title: Surgery Scheduler Job Description

This role involves managing both front office tasks and surgery scheduling. Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in similar positions. Key responsibilities include checking patients in and out upon their appointments, assisting them with follow-up steps, verifying insurance, and collecting copays and balances.

• Manage front office operations and surgery scheduling.
• Check patients in and out for appointments.
• Assist patients with next steps and follow-up procedures.
• Verify insurance details for patients.
• Collect copays and outstanding balances.

• 3-5 years of experience in a Front Office/Surgery Scheduling role.
• Surgical specialty experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Proficiency in appointment scheduling and administrative support.
• Experience with medical reception and medical assistance.
• Knowledge of EMR systems, particularly Athena.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to manage patient access and scheduling.

The position is full-time, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Initial training will be provided for two weeks, after which you will work independently. The role requires professional attire appropriate for a medical office environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Cypress, TX.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cypress,TX.
