Per Diem Speech Pathologist (CCC-SLP) in Union County

Atlantic Health is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join the energetic and innovative team of healthcare professionals in their Atlantic Visiting Nurse Division as a Per Diem Speech Pathologist (CCC-SLP) in Union County. The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat patients in the patient's home and be a part of a collaborative team of health providers. Weekends not required and hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 - 4pm.

Atlantic Visiting Nurse provides personalized care for you or a loved one to regain health, stay out of the hospital, and remain living independently at home. Whether or not it is managing life with a chronic illness, living with a disability, returning home from the hospital or rehabilitation facility, or need assistance with end-of-life care, we are available to you in six counties throughout New Jersey: Morris, Somerset, Essex, Sussex, Union, and Warren.

Qualifications

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients in their homes

Minimum Education:

• Masters in Speech Language Pathology
• CCC

Relevant Experience:

• 1 year of Home-care experience preferred

License/Certifications:

• NJ SLP License required
• Valid and unrestricted Driver License with a clean driving record, required.

Atlantic Rehabilitation offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, audiology, wound care management and more. All of which are provided by a highly trained staff comprised of physiatrists; internists; physician assistants; nurse practitioners; rehabilitation nurses; physical, occupational, and recreational therapists; speech-language pathologists; social workers; psychologists; vocational rehabilitation counselors; dieticians; audiologists; and care managers.
