Join us!InsuranceThe team collaborates with practitioners across Deloitte’s different service offerings to deliver advice to formulate business strategy and strategic plans to leading insurance organizations and to implement solutions to execute on those plans and aid our clients in navigating complex engagements and organizational change.Engagements span Deloitte offerings and could include developing underwriting, distribution, and claims transformation plans, modernizing specific business and enterprise functions, re-designing operating models and organizational structures, implementing digital experience and advanced analytics solutions, and integrating functions across multiple organizations. Our engagements require a combination of insurance industry knowledge, technical skill, and change management actions to instill confidence with our clients and execute the transformation. To enable our success, it will be critical to use data, insights, and new methods and technologies to inform better ways of working together.Work You’ll DoAs a Business Strategy Senior Manager, you will be responsible for helping clients identify new sources of competitive advantage, drive growth, improve margin, and optimize operations. This work also helps clients maximize the ROI of technology investments and use digital trends to build future-ready strategies.QualificationsRequired:8+ years of management consulting experience focused on Corporate & Business Unit Strategy, Strategic Planning, Growth Strategy, Commercial Strategy, and Business Transformation8+ years of experience in strategy, performance improvement, operational transformation, or transactions – with a track record of leading high-stakes, complex engagement from problem-definition through execution6+ years of experience advising and building trusted relationships with senior executives, shaping, and implementing strategies, improvement initiatives, or transaction-related solutions that drive growth, operational performance, or enterprise value6+ years of experience developing and delivering executive-ready materials, including strategic roadmaps, board and C-suite presentations [PowerPoint], business cases, operating model designs, and transformation or integration plans5+ years of experience in the Insurance sector4+ years of experience leading teams and influencing others, including coaching and mentoring staff across varying levels of experience2+ years of experience driving the sales cycle – framing client opportunities, leading pursuit teams, and developing compelling proposal content for executive discussionsBachelor’s degree from accredited university with strong undergraduate academic record.Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveLimited immigration sponsorship may be availablePreferred:Advanced degree in business, such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA)Experience defining cross-industry trends and translating implications into business or strategic recommendationsExperience with human resources, information technology, finance, procurement, or commercial operations functionsExperience with customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), e-commerce, or content management platformsExperience using analytical methods to develop business analyses and recommendation materialsExperience with scenario planningFor individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $223,700 to $372,900.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
