This role is pivotal in supporting both Data and Business App projects, ensuring the successful execution of our healthcare IT initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including analytics dashboards, AI chatbots, regulatory requirements, Revenue Cycle and HR applications. - Lead and manage a variety of healthcare IT projects, including data projects such as analytics dashboards, regulatory requirements, and AI chatbots or agents.
- Oversee Business App projects, including Revenue Cycle and HR applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT project management, with a focus on data and business app projects.
- Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
- Experience with ambulatory and inpatient settings.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing complex projects that are strategic in nature and global in scope.
- Strong understanding of AI chatbots, data analytics, and regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry.
- Experience with Revenue Cycle and HR applications.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation), and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
- Research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management software.
- PMP certification is a plus.
