Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Licensed Sales Producer role based in Troy, MI. The Licensed Sales Producer will advise customers on insurance products, provide policy recommendations, and generate new business through outbound and inbound sales activities. Daily responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotes, processing applications, and following up on leads to ensure timely and accurate service. The role also involves maintaining detailed records in agency systems, meeting or exceeding sales goals, and collaborating with team members and leadership to support agency growth. The Licensed Sales Producer will participate in regular training to stay current on product changes, state regulations, and sales best practices. Qualifications Insurance expertise, including knowledge of personal lines products and willingness to maintain required state licensing. Strong communication skills to explain coverage options clearly and build trust with diverse customers. Customer service skills to handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and deliver a professional, positive experience. Sales skills to prospect, qualify leads, close business, and consistently work toward sales targets. Training mindset, with the ability to learn quickly, apply new information, and participate in ongoing professional development. High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail in handling confidential customer information. Comfort working with computer systems, CRM tools, and basic office software. Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or retail sales is preferred but not required.
