Job Description
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government healthcare location in Ventura, CA. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service to staff, visitors, and patients. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Bring your experience to a caring, reliable team that values integrity, teamwork, and innovative service.

Tue 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
Wed 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
Thur 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
Fri 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare government location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations and reporting access-related issues.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
