As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and patients. This driving position combines customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.99 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe visitor and staff activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
