About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Infant Toddler Teacher to join our team in Brooklyn, New York. As a Toddler Lead Teacher, you will develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early literacy, math skills, physical development, and social-emotional learning for infants and toddlers. You will create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early literacy, math skills, physical development, and social-emotional learning tailored to infants and toddlers
• Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management
• Plan engaging lesson activities that support childhood development milestones and incorporate Montessori or other educational philosophies as appropriate
• Provide attentive toddler care by monitoring health, hygiene, nutrition, and safety standards in compliance with childcare regulations
• Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transition activities with patience and consistency
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about each child's progress, behavioral updates, and developmental milestones
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure classroom management strategies are effective and aligned with early intervention practices for children needing additional support

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or currently pursuing
• Prior classroom experience working with infants and toddlers in licensed childcare centers or preschool settings is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies
• Experience in curriculum development focused on literacy education, sensory activities, and physical education for young children
• Familiarity with standardized testing methods used to assess early learning outcomes is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining a positive learning environment
• Background in special education or working with children requiring additional support enhances your candidacy
• Excellent communication skills to foster collaborative relationships with families and team members committed to child welfare

Our Toddler Lead Teacher will work from our location in Brooklyn, New York , providing a safe and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers.
