Job Title Nurse 1 (RN 2nd Shift) – Sign on Bonus (2600042V) Organization Veterans Services Georgetown (Ohio Department of Veterans Services) Work Location Southern Ohio Veterans Home, 2003 Veterans Boulevard, Georgetown, OH 45121-0000 Key Details Unposting Date: Jul 1, 2026 Salary: $34.96 per hour Schedule: Full‑time, 3 pm‑11:30 pm (2nd shift) Union: 1199 Responsibilities Provide professional nursing and emergency health care to residents, including assessment, medication administration, and clinical rounds. Lead day‑to‑day operations of assigned unit or shift; direct RNs, LPNs, and aides; schedule and evaluate staff; facilitate staff development. Perform clerical and administrative tasks: charting, controlled drug inventory, reporting, and coordination with external medical providers. Participate in committees, problem‑solving teams, staff meetings, and in‑service trainings. Qualifications Registered professional nurse license in Ohio issued by the Board of Nursing. Experience in nursing home or long‑term care setting preferred. Strong attention to detail, conflict management, and ability to establish relationships. Benefits Sign‑on bonus: $2,000.
