Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The Optical Metrology Division products are used for optical overlay metrology. The portfolio of products includes unique solution packages which are based on hardware and software systems to enhance yield and effectiveness. As a world leader in its field of expertise, the division's products are the most advanced in performance (measurement accuracy of nanometers and below), reliability, ease of use and compatibility with other KLA's products. KLA Israel is located in the Migdal Haemek Industrial Park.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsWe are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with strong experience in multidisciplinary software-hardware systems. The ideal candidate thrives in complex system environments, demonstrates deep technical expertise in multithreaded/multiprocessing software, and brings a strong troubleshooting mindset to solve challenging, real-world problems in semiconductor equipment.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain software components for complex SW/HW integrated systemsBuild high-performance, scalable applications leveraging C++, C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework on Windows and Linux platformsDevelop and optimize multithreaded and multiprocessing applications for performance-critical systemsCollaborate cross-functionally with hardware, systems, and algorithm teams to integrate software into end-to-end solutionsDiagnose and resolve system-level issues using strong debugging and troubleshooting techniquesLeverage AI tools and technologies to accelerate development, testing, and analysis workflowsContribute to system architecture, design reviews, and technical decision-makingCommunicate technical concepts clearly through presentations, documentation, and cross-team discussionsMinimum QualificationsDoctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 1 years; master’s Level Degree and related work experience of 4 years; bachelor’s Level Degree and related work experience of 6 yearsProven experience developing and troubleshooting multidisciplinary SW/HW systemsStrong programming expertise in C++ and/or C#Experience with multithreading and multiprocessing conceptsHands-on experience developing applications on Windows and/or Linux operating systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on debugging complex systemsExcellent written and verbal communicationBase Pay Range: $115,900.00 - $197,000.00 AnnuallyPrimary Location: USA-OR-Hillsboro-Beaverton-KLAKLA’s total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.Interns are eligible for some of the benefits listed.
