Sales Engineer

We are hiring for a Sales Engineer in the Smyrna, GA area. Responsibilities: This position is primarily responsible for sales development, management, satisfaction, and order fulfilment in line with mutually defined sales goals and expectations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides input and direction for creating strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals. Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly. Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates. Advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques. Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales. Represents company at trade association meetings to promote products. Delivers sales presentations to clients and prospects. Meets with clients and prospects, to maintain or develop relationships, negotiating and order booking. Coordinates liaison to Sales Coordinator, manufacturing facilities, HQ, and other sales related units. Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. Provides input and direction for product research and development consideration. Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition. Perform any other duties assigned or delegated by the manager. Required: (B.S.) from four-year college or university in engineering discipline (mechanical, industrial, electrical, industrial design, product design, or related field) is preferred. Work experiencein customer-service environment ( EX: Store, restaurant, dealership, etc.) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional attitude, appearance, and ability toconnect with people. "A people-person" with a technical mindset. Ability to travel one week per month Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
