• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: D/N rotating shift — 7:00 PM–7:30 AM / 7:00 AM–7:30 PM (3x12s only). Shifts may be variable; if needed to meet the operational needs of the hospital, every effort will be made to honor the preferred shift, but the right to rotate is reserved if necessary.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This travel nursing assignment is located at the Main Campus Hospital – HVTI-Stepdown unit, with potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population. This is an AUTO OFFER position for 3x12 schedules only.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the HVTI-Stepdown unit.
• Float to units J1-2, J33, and ED as needed to care for the same patient population.
• Work at least every other holiday.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required.

Required Skills

• Minimum 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for (preferable within one location, but may be combined).
• Minimum 18 months of recent Stepdown experience; travel experience will suffice.
• ECG rhythm recognition competency.
• safeMedicate proficiency.

Preferred Skills

• PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required.

Education Requirements

• Permanent Ohio RN License or Compact State License — must be in hand at time of submission.
• AHA or client BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification required.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Hospital inpatient setting — Stepdown/PCU unit.
• Day/Night rotating shifts; shifts may vary based on operational needs.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only).
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only).
• Traveler must work at least every other holiday.

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required for continuation of the assignment.
