Float Medical AssistantWe are currently seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant to assist our medical providers at our family/internal medicine clinics across Orange County. This role will report to our Medical Office Manager/Site Administrator and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry. The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing both front office and clinical support to ensure efficient daily operations and exceptional patient care. This role serves as a primary point of contact for patients, managing appointment scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and patient communications while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.Our Values:Put Patients FirstEmpower Entrepreneurial Provider and Care TeamsOperate with Integrity & ExcellenceBe InnovativeWork As One TeamWhat You'll Do:Assists physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physicianAdministrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical recordsClinical duties may include, such as preparing a treatment room for patient exams, recording patient medical history, and cleaning and sterilizing medical equipmentEscort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in the patient's chartInterviews patients to obtain their medical historyRecords patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical filesMust be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills in a fast-pace environmentGood verbal and written communication skillsBe able to prioritize workload while remaining flexibleMay be required to work overtime to meet tight deadlinesAdditional duties as assigned.Qualifications:Must be able to work out of any of the 3 clinic locations: Anaheim, Anaheim Hills, Santa AnaAt least one (1) or more years of experience working as a Medical Assistant or equivalent healthcare experienceActive and unrestricted Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in CaliforniaHigh school diploma or GEDYou're great for this role if:Bilingual in Spanish preferredAbility to maintain confidentiality following HIPAADemonstration of mature judgmentAttention to detail, organized, ethical, and reliableAbility to communicate clearly and effectively in a courteous and friendly mannerEnvironmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:Our organization follows an in-person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite on a daily basis.As a Float, you will be expected to work at multiple locations, including: 710 N. Euclid Street, Anaheim, CA 92801 (home office); 500 S. Anaheim Hills Road, Suite 230, Anaheim, CA 92807; and 801 N. Tustin Ave, Suite 602, Santa Ana, CA 92705.Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.The national target pay range for this role is $20 - $25 per hour.
