Title: Civil /Commercial Litigation Attorney Work Arrangement: Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time Application Deadline: Open until Filled About the Opportunity: A leading national law firm is seeking Civil /Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its growing litigation practice in Portland, Oregon . This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with experience handling complex construction disputes and related civil litigation matters. Key Responsibilities: Manage Civil /Commercial Litigation Attorney matters from inception through resolution. Develop case strategy and evaluate liability and exposure. Handle pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation. Draft complaints, answers, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and other litigation documents. Conduct legal research and factual investigation. Analyze construction contracts, project documents, and related claims. Work with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders. Take and defend depositions. Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed. Independently manage multiple matters and deadlines. Qualifications: Experience in Commercial litigation or complex civil litigation preferred. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills. Experience with discovery, motion practice, depositions, and hearings. Ability to independently manage litigation matters. Strong communication and client-management skills.
