Rehab at Scottsdale Village Square is seeking a compassionate and highly motivated Activity Assistant to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in promoting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. Our team at Scottsdale Village Square is committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents, and we are looking for someone who shares our values.
About the Role
As an Activity Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to plan, implement, and evaluate recreational and therapeutic activities designed to meet the needs and interests of our residents. This may include, but is not limited to, leading group exercises, organizing events and outings, and facilitating crafts and hobbies. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to identify and address the unique needs of each resident, creating a personalized experience that promotes independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
Plan, implement, and evaluate recreational and therapeutic activities for residents
Lead group exercises, such as aerobics, yoga, or strength training
Organize events and outings, such as field trips, concerts, or movie nights
Facilitate crafts and hobbies, such as painting, knitting, or woodworking
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and address the unique needs of each resident
Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress
