This individual will serve a key function in performing transportation planning studies, traffic engineering analysis/study and roadway/traffic signal design. In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist with the planning, design and permitting of traffic/transportation engineering, land development and infrastructure projects in a cross-disciplinary learning environment.Job ResponsibilitiesAssist with the planning, design and permitting of traffic/transportation engineering, land development and infrastructure projectsComplete traffic analysis for traffic impact studiesUse engineering equipment and design software (SYNCHRO, HCS, etc.) to prepare engineering and design documentsApply knowledge and techniques of engineering and advanced mathematicsWrite and/or review draft reports including traffic impact studies and parking studiesPerform other duties as requestedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering0-2 years of work-related experienceMinimum 3.0 GPAEIT certification, or current registration for FE exam preferredPrior related internship or professional experienceProficiency in HCS, SYNCHRO and the MUTCDKnowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation and/or SoftDesk civil softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilitiesAbility to effectively work independently and in a team environmentPossess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver's license in good standingLangan provides a rich array of programs and benefits to help its employees advance their careers and enhance the quality of their lives.
