Working within a small team of 2-5 employees, this role involves managing guest arrivals and departures, handling reservations, and providing essential information and assistance. The position follows split shifts and demands a proactive approach to customer service, including complaint resolution and coordination with housekeeping to maintain an efficient front desk operation. Responsibilities Manage guest check-in and check-out processes Handle reservation management and updates Provide excellent customer service and assist with inquiries Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally Perform cash handling activities accurately Assist guests with information and local recommendations Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby area Coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness and special requests Manage room keys and ensure security protocols Keep accurate records of daily front desk activities Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of experience in hospitality or customer service Familiarity with reservation systems Strong customer service orientation Effective communication skills Conflict resolution capabilities Experience in cash handling Close attention to detail Ability to work well within a team
