Medical Assistant OpportunityPride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility in Palestine, TX 75801. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Specific Duties:Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of careProvide skilled physical therapy services in patients' homesConduct Start of Care (SOC), Resumption of Care (ROC), recertifications, and discharge visitsMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededEducate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and ongoing careMaintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulationsCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team membersEnsure compliance with Medicare guidelines and home health regulationsQualifications:Degree in Physical Therapy (PT)Active Physical Therapist license (or eligibility) in the state of TexasPrior home health experience preferredStrong understanding of patient care, treatment planning, and documentationExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage a flexible scheduleMust Have Qualifications/Experience:Familiarity with home health EMR systems (e.g., HCHB)Previous travel or contract experienceBLS for healthcare providersHigh school graduate or GED equivalent1+ years of experience as a Physical TherapistAdditional Information:Location: Palestine, TX 75801Job Type: 3+ months contract to hireSchedule: Monday through FridayShift start & end times: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pmWorkdays per week: 5 daysPay Range: $50-57/hrs. on W2 without benefitsOffered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.Pride-Health offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.Equal Employment Opportunity Pride-Health is an equal opportunity employer.
