Commercial Market Director - Insurance

Commercial Marketing Director (Insurance) Philadelphia Area – New Jersey Side | Hybrid/Remote We are seeking an experienced Commercial Marketing Director to lead commercial marketing strategy, carrier relationships, negotiations, and placement for a growing insurance brokerage serving clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a commercial insurance professional with strong middle-market to large-market expertise who understands how to identify the right markets, negotiate effectively, and help producers win and retain business. What You’ll Do Lead commercial marketing strategy and placement initiatives across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Manage and strengthen relationships with key insurance carriers, wholesalers, and underwriting partners Identify the most appropriate markets and carriers for complex commercial risks Lead negotiations with carriers to secure competitive pricing, coverage, terms, and conditions Develop and manage marketing strategies for middle-market and large commercial accounts Review prospect opportunities and determine appropriate carrier appetite and market strategy Prepare and coordinate high-quality submissions to maximize quote opportunities Work closely with producers to move quotes and proposals quickly and effectively Serve as a key resource to producers regarding carrier appetite, underwriting guidelines, and market conditions Help develop creative solutions for challenging or difficult-to-place risks Monitor market trends, carrier capabilities, and changing underwriting conditions Build strong internal processes to improve speed, efficiency, and placement success Partner with leadership to support continued regional growth and expansion What We’re Looking For Significant experience in Commercial Insurance Marketing and Placement Strong background working with middle-market and large commercial accounts Deep knowledge of commercial insurance carriers, markets, and underwriting appetites Proven ability to negotiate coverage, pricing, terms, and conditions Strong understanding of how to match complex client risks with the right insurance markets Established relationships with commercial carriers and wholesale partners Ability to quickly evaluate opportunities and develop an effective marketing strategy Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Ability to work effectively with producers, executives, underwriters, and clients Strategic thinker who can also execute quickly in a fast-paced environment Why This Opportunity?
