Speech-Language Pathologist

This position involves providing speech-language therapy to patients in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting. The focus is on individuals recovering from severe injuries or illnesses. The role requires ongoing care and specialized treatment tailored to individual patient needs. Common patient diagnoses include stroke, brain injury, neurodegenerative disorders, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputation, and orthopedic injuries. The goal is to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation programs. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential to ensure optimal recovery for patients. Candidates must demonstrate a relaxed, efficient demeanor and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
