Our care philosophy is guided by the following core principles: Dignity and Respect Information Sharing Participation Collaboration Staff Speech Therapist This role supports NRHN’s mission, values, and commitment to quality outcomes by performing assigned duties in accordance with NRHN policies, procedures, and standards of care. Essential Responsibilities Perform duties with competence and professionalism treating a variety of ages including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric clients. Actively participate in the growth and development of the department, including quality management. Qualifications Licensed PT/OT/SLP/CF‑SLP (must meet qualifications). Inpatient therapists must be licensed in NH. Outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapists must be licensed in their state of hire and eligible for licensure in an alternate state (license to be obtained within 3 months of hire). Trained and certified biennially in BLS Healthcare Provider Level CPR. Work a minimum of two evenings per week unless approved by regional outpatient directors (outpatient therapy). Work on the holiday and weekend rotation as indicated by staffing levels (inpatient therapy). Physical Demands Frequent pulling, pushing and lifting a minimum of 30 pounds (reasonable assistance may be requested in situations exceeding this amount). Occasional pulling, pushing and lifting a minimum of 50 pounds (reasonable assistance may be requested in situations exceeding this amount for PT, PTA, OT & COTA only). Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing and seeing. Perform maximal assist/dependent transfers as necessary.
