Schedule/Hours:

• Nights: 1900-0700
• 36 hours per week
• Orientation on Mondays

Desired Qualifications:

• Active KS or compact RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
• 3+ years of ER nursing experience (5+ years and large facility experience preferred)
• Excellent assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Ability and willingness to float (rarely)
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed
• Orientation requirements met by the Wednesday prior to start date
• Experience working in fast-paced emergency settings
• New graduates will not be considered for this role

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered emergency care and perform rapid assessments
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Triage, monitor, and document patient status accurately
• Manage crises and respond to rapid changes in patient conditions
• Float to other units only if needed
