Leading managed service organization is looking to add a Billing Specialist to their team starting in June! This company handles legal and financial operations. Experience in legal billing is highly preferred.

This is a HYBRID position with 3 days onsite after training – potential for remote if in the Phoenix, AZ area after performance reviews

Pay: $28 - 30/hr

Schedule: Monday to Friday Schedule, day time hours

Experienced Billing Specialist Skills:

• Distribute prebills and draft invoices to attorneys and relevant stakeholders for thorough review and feedback prior to finalization.
• Conduct preliminary review of billing narratives to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with firm standards before attorney evaluation.
• Perform detailed markup of prebills to reflect necessary revisions, including time transfers, billing splits, and other required adjustments.
• Accurately input attorney revisions and prebill markups into the Aderant system, ensuring all changes are properly recorded and reflected.
• Submit requests for write-offs, deferrals, and other billing adjustments, and proactively follow up to obtain timely approvals.
• Coordinate and follow up on the inclusion or exclusion of expenses, ensuring all billing items are accurately captured and aligned with client guidelines.

Ideal Candidates:

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or related Business area
• Knowledge of customer contractual arrangements
• Ability to understand complex pricing methods
• Work well in a cross-functional matrix environment
