Facilities TechnicianWe are seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to join our dynamic team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded skill set in facilities maintenance, including plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, patching, and any HVAC, welding, or preventive maintenance knowledge.ResponsibilitiesPerform plumbing tasks and repairs.Conduct basic electrical maintenance and repairs.Carry out painting and patching work.Utilize HVAC knowledge for maintenance and troubleshooting.Engage in welding activities as needed.Execute preventive maintenance tasks.Handle carpentry and drywall repairs.Use hand tools and power tools efficiently.Maintain lighting fixtures and address any issues.Keep the facility clean and well-maintained.Essential SkillsExperience in facilities maintenance.Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.Knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems.Ability to perform electrical repairs.Familiarity with preventive maintenance techniques.Additional Skills & QualificationsEntry-level candidates with a positive attitude are encouraged to apply.Welding experience is a plus.Experience in painting and drywall repairs is beneficial.Why Work Here?Join a national company renowned for its work in exciting industries such as space, medical, and defense.
