Senior Risk Analyst, Data and Technology Risk

Plan research and develop specialized risk assessment scopes Collaborate with management and personnel to optimize risk assessment scope development Identify business risks, operational and regulatory process deficiencies, and improvement opportunities Gather and synthesize data; present conclusions and risk mitigation, remediation, and process improvement solutions to management Lead and conduct specialized risk assessment and testing lifecycles for business activities, processes, policies, and procedures Provide expertise to support operational effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements, federal and state laws, and company standards Develop, lead, and oversee efforts to improve operational efficiency and risk mitigation processes Prepare and present risk assessment reports, trend analyses, and remedial or mitigation solutions to management and affected business units Evaluate, analyze, and challenge operational, data, and technology risks Strengthen controls and provide risk-based guidance on data governance, technology controls, and regulatory requirements Requirements Complete knowledge and understanding of the business area or specialization Advanced knowledge of risk-based auditing techniques and methodologies Advanced knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations, company policies, and industry best practices Experience managing multiple simultaneous, multifaceted projects with cross-departmental impact Advanced knowledge of operational and regulatory risk control concepts and practices Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute risk mitigation and process improvement initiatives Advanced organizational, planning, and time management skills Advanced research and analytical skills Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Auditing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience Typically requires a professional qualification in risk management or equivalent experience Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship Master’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience (desired) Core Competencies Demonstrates advanced knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, operational and regulatory risk control concepts, and the ability to lead process improvement initiatives. Proficient in synthesizing data and presenting risk mitigation solutions to management while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
